Event: "Portraits in Black" - Our first Black History Program

Location: St. Louis
"Portraits in Black" was our first Black History Program. Our program featured a storyteller, Bbrief sketches about black women who made a difference in our history
January Events:
Event: OSA Membership Meeting
Time: January 14, 2014
Highlight: Annual Meeting, Scholarship Award and Contribution of monetary donation to the Alzheimer Association.
Our Second Act, Inc. presented Two $500.00 scholarships to women over 55 who are pursuing
degrees from local colleges. Scholarship applications are available on the website and should be submitted by June 1, for the 2014 fall semester.
We also presented a check for $2000.00 to the Alzheimer's Association to provide respite care for caregivers of patients.
